As part of UC Forward Honors program, Inquiry to Innovation introduced students to the creative process of research and innovation in a collaborative cross-disciplinary team. The goal was to design and develop environmental enrichment in partnership with the Cincinnati Zoo that stimulates positive species-specific behaviors. The Cincinnati Zoo sought partnership with The University of Cincinnati to design new innovations for 4 very different species of animals. Together we created a solvable puzzle that engages the giraffes in order to extend their feeding time.
