Licensed Swim Confidence Sets | Swimways Baby & Kids
I partnered directly with leading entertainment licensors to design and develop cohesive, themed swim confidence sets for babies and young children. Each collection was created as a visually unified assortment—typically including infant floats, swim vests, and arm floaties—featuring beloved characters from franchises such as Disney, Marvel, DC, Paw Patrol, and Bluey.

Using licensor-provided style guides, I thoughtfully applied character assets, colors, and design elements across all items to create visually engaging and developmentally appropriate products. Every touchpoint was considered, from character placement to coordinated patterns, ensuring the sets felt consistent, on-brand, and impactful both on shelf and in the water. Collaboration with licensors was essential at every stage to ensure brand integrity and full approval of final designs.

In addition to floatation items, I contributed to the design and development of above- and below-water toys as part of Swimways’ Swim Steps program—a milestone-based system created to help children build water confidence at every stage of learning to swim. These toys were intentionally designed to encourage skill progression, with playful, age-appropriate features that guide children through water exploration, breath control, and submersion. Whether it was a floating toy for surface play or a dive toy to promote underwater comfort, each product supported the Swim Steps mission of turning water time into safe, confidence-building fun.
