Print & Pattern Development | Passion Project
My passion for print and pattern development lies in the intersection of visual storytelling, emotional connection, and trend-forward design. Whether for consumer products, textiles, or branded collections, I approach each project with a strong foundation in user research and market analysis to ensure the final designs are both visually compelling and strategically relevant.

My creative process begins with deep trend forecasting—studying color theory, cultural shifts, and retail patterns to develop color palettes and motifs that resonate with target audiences. From there, I incorporate user insights to understand how people connect with texture, scale, and theme across age groups and product categories.

Each print is built with intention, whether it’s meant to spark playfulness, create calm, or reinforce brand identity. I’ve developed patterns for everything from swimwear and outdoor toys to baby floats and soft goods, always prioritizing how the end user will feel and interact with the design in real life.

This work reflects my belief that great pattern design isn’t just decorative—it’s an emotional touchpoint, a storytelling tool, and a way to elevate everyday experiences through color, form, and meaning.

Swimways Brand Refresh & Print Development
As part of an ongoing effort to modernize and energize the Swimways brand, I led the creative direction for a series of seasonal refreshes across multiple product lines. Each project began with in-depth research into market trends, consumer behavior, and category-specific aesthetics to inform color palette development and pattern direction.

I spearheaded the creation of custom prints and surface designs tailored to the unique positioning of each sub-brand, with special attention to age group, functionality, and retail partner needs. Highlights include:

Water Sports | 2024 Collection: Developed dynamic, energetic prints for a line of performance-driven pool and beach sporting goods, guided by trend forecasting and color-of-the-year insights.

Swimways Baby | 2025 Collection: Designed playful yet safety-conscious prints for baby floats and swim aids, incorporating caregiver feedback and early childhood visual engagement research.

Coop | 2025 Collection: Crafted bold, graphic patterns for outdoor sports equipment, aligning with Gen Z consumer preferences and brand heritage.

Each pattern was thoughtfully created with storytelling, utility, and marketability in mind—bringing visual cohesion and renewed relevance to one of the industry’s most recognizable outdoor and water toy brands.
